Based on the theme, “Under the Blue” we’ve had the privilege of conceptualizing and art directing Swarovski’s latest event in Shanghai. Scenography, lighting, music and choreography stimulated a mesmerising emotional experience, applauded by the audience and the press alike.
It was a true collaboration of creativity, making this our most successful event to date. Our artistic vision could not have been realized without the expertise and talent of some of Asia’s leading artists and performers, such as Director, Timm Wu, choreographer, Jacob Cheng Tsung-Lung, and Andy Stoke, video producer.
The floating stage was set off the shore of the Xintiandi Lake, where compelling dance choreography told the story of a marriage between crystal and water. It was forty minutes of unforgettable, pure beauty. To emphasize the expressive movement of the dancers, we designed a giant, 8 metre high by 45 metre wide backdrop where a video installation reflected in the lake again, echoed and answered the performers organic movements.
