Marc & Chantal Design is pleased to present the design for Hong Kong’s first exhibition on the Pritzker Prize-winning architect, Frank Gehry. The exhibition is presented by Swire Properties in collaboration with Gehry Partners, and is a tribute to the exceptional creativity and ingenuity of the legendary architect.
“Outside the Box | Frank Gehry” Exhibition features a collection of his most distinguished projects such as the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles. The exhibition also shares with the audience a unique look into the creative process for Gehry’s first residential project, in Asia (also his first project in China)- OPUS HONG KONG at 53 Stubbs Road, The Peak.
The exhibition is specially curated and designed for Island East’s ArtisTree –visitors may explore Gehry’s distinctive design journey through a collection of his sketches, study models, images and exclusive film interviews, which feature the architect himself.
In contrast to our workshop-inspired design for Frank Gehry. Architect, (his first exhibition in China that took place in Beijing’s Sanlitun Village) this year’s exhibition evokes a more intimate and home-like environment, synonymous with many of Gehry’s most notable works.
Whether professionals, designers, inquisitive student or curious passer-by, the exhibition space inspire and pique the interests of all.
