In the tapestry of Marc & Chantal’s vibrant history, the thread of tradition weaves a compelling story. Celebrating 30 years of inventive spirit, our “Artisans of Change” campaign is a homage to the hands that shape our legacy and the creativity that propels our future.
Within the walls where imagination thrives, master artisan Ka Hung Hui, a custodian of cultural heritage, joined forces with our team. Together, we embarked on a creative odyssey, breathing life into ‘Fong Fong’ and ‘Ah Kau’—more than just lion dancers, they became messengers of our collective narrative, a nod to the artisanal ethos Marc & Chantal embodies. Their square-shaped pompoms, a novel design, exemplify innovation rooted in age-old artisanship.
‘Fong Fong’ and ‘Ah Kau’ took to the streets with the pride of lions and the heart of our studio. Traversing Hong Kong, they bridged the past with the present, connecting the dots of Marc & Chantal’s influential projects. These majestic creatures, donned in our signature logomark, became moving symbols of our evolving journey—anchored in tradition, yet boldly stepping into the new.
The exhibition’s inauguration was graced by the rhythmic dance of tradition, as ‘Fong Fong’ and ‘Ah Kau’ brought our heritage to the forefront. The campaign’s crescendo was a workshop for the young—our future artisans. Here, creativity blossomed, as little hands folded and painted, shaping their own dragons. It was a testament to the enduring legacy of our craft, the kindling of imagination, and the promise of continuity.
