Our team was invited to evolve the identity of the Ladies’ Recreation Club (LRC), a cornerstone of Hong Kong’s private club landscape since 1883. The challenge lay in honouring a deeply personal history while articulating a modern brand platform, one that reflects the Club’s transition into a diverse, engaging, and attentive club for a progressive, global community.
Through a series of stakeholder workshops, we distilled the Club’s unique DNA into a core narrative of resonant cohesion. This collaborative approach allowed us to bridge the Club’s modest, historic origins with a forward-thinking spirit of creativity, ensuring a consistent and caring brand experience across every touchpoint of its extensive facilities.
Founded in 1883 on Old Peak Road, the Ladies’ Recreation Club grew from a pioneering sporting sanctuary into a Hong Kong landmark. Built on the ethos "From the Community, For the Community," the LRC continues to evolve with a commitment to sustainable, caring growth.
Situated on the lush slopes of Old Peak Road, the LRC’s ascending landscape mirrors its role as a multicultural sanctuary. Our branding reflects this unique sense of place, positioning the Club as a solid and sustainable retreat that connects people from all walks of life, offering a private botanical escape high above the kinetic energy of the city.
From its origins as a pioneering sporting club to its current status as a leader in sustainability-conscious hospitality, the LRC has always been "From the Community, For the Community." Our work ensures that the Club’s visual and verbal identity reflects this commitment to caring and considerate growth.
