We were commissioned to refresh the brand, whilst they updated their interiors thanks to AIM architecture.
Our work was in two parts: first, a guest journey that interweaves the past and present. With its unique location just off the Great Wall, we knew it was important to create a cohesive hospitality experience where all elements are integrated: old and new, human and nature.
The second part of our work was a visual identity based on their existing logo. We created a system using a limited colour palette of sleek silver, matte black, and a bright red accent: sophisticated but contemporary.
